COVID-19 Update 3/23/20:
CPT℠ management has been monitoring the evolving COVID-19 outbreak closely. The well-being of our staff and subject population is our primary concern. We had previously instituted measures consistent with the CDC, WHO and local government and health recommendations, and if you have visited us recently, you will have noted a number of changes that have already been made for both the health and safety of our staff and for you – our subject population.
However, at this time, we have made the decision to not start any new photobiology or clinical trials for an indefinite period of time.
- If you are currently participating in a clinical patch study, you will be receiving instructions based upon the date of completion of your panel.
- If you were scheduled to be on a photobiology test, we will not be conducting any photobiology trials at this time.
- If you are on a “product take-home” test, you will be notified about continuing product usage and completion dates.
We appreciate the loyalty and compliance of our subject population. It was our intent to continue clinical trials while maintaining compliance with CDC recommendations. However, the Executive Order does not allow you to travel. Compliance with the order, combined with our intent to maintain safe practices, has led to our closing of the photobiology and clinical lab indefinitely. Therefore, we will no longer be allowing any subject visits to our facility beginning on Monday, March 23rd.
Payments will be prorated based on the status of the trial you are on (number of visits completed) and will be paid via check at the normal completion date of your panel or at the earliest when we reopen the clinic. You will also be able to start on the same panel again once we reopen.
