Repeated Insult Patch Test
If you are eligible for the study and you choose to participate, you will:
The Repeated Insult Patch Test (RIPT) Back Study is a two-part test.
Part 1 involves the application of patches (bandages), with products on them, to your back three times a week for 3 weeks, which is followed by a rest period (where no patches are applied). Your skin is examined for responses to the patches after each removal.
Part 2 involves applying the same patches to a different area of skin and looking at the skin responses over 3 or 4 days.
You’ll be given instructions about patch removal and when to report to the Test Facility, when you enroll. New patch studies start on Mondays and Wednesdays!
