Visit 1 (approx. 30 minutes): Parent/Legal Guardians will report t to the Testing Facility with their child (the potential panelist) with clean skin, free of moisturizers, and complete an ICF for their child to become a subject. A Medical History Form will determine initial qualification into the trial. In the presence of their parent/legal guardian, the panelist will receive a visual examination conducted by a Board-Certified Pediatrician of their torso, arms and legs for evidence or redness, dryness, and swelling. Panelists presenting with a score of 2 or greater for any parameter will not qualify. If qualified, the Parent/Legal Guardian will receive the test material and use instructions and will use the test material to wash your child’s clothes for 4 weeks (3 loads per week).
Visit 2 (approx. 30 minutes): After 4 weeks of test material use, the Parent/Legal Guardian and child will return to the Testing Facility for a visual examination conducted by a Board-Certified Pediatrician, as previously described. Test materials will be returned and daily diaries will be reviewed and collected. Panelists will then be dismissed. Usage Directions: Discontinue the use of your child's laundry detergent and use only the test material provided for the duration of the trial. Do not introduce any new products to the child's body during the test interval. Wash all your child's clothes the first day of the trial with the test laundry detergent provided.
