Procedures:
Potential subjects will report to the Testing Facility at their scheduled appointment time and complete an ICF to become subjects. For the next 7 days, subjects will discontinue use of any type of skincare products on their face. Subjects will wash their face two times each day with a non-moisturizing cleanser, provided by the Testing Facility. Subjects will be required to use the provided cleanser for the duration of the trial.
Subjects will be required to wash their face at home with the provided cleanser approximately 2 hours prior to each Testing Facility Visit. A Conditioning Phase daily diary will be provided to each subject to document each washing of their face.
Visit 2: Subjects will report to the Testing Facility at their scheduled appointment time, without skincare products or makeup, with a clean face, having washed their face approximately 2 hours before their visit. Subjects’ Conditioning Phase daily diaries will be collected and reviewed for compliance. An Expert Grader will evaluate each subject’s face to determine skin condition suitability. Subject’s faces must be free of visible disease, lacerations, abrasions, tattoos, sunburn, scars, excessive facial hair, non-removable piercings, etc. Qualified subjects will equilibrate in the temperature-controlled room for at least 30 minutes. Following equilibration, baseline sebum measurements will be taken on the subject's forehead.
Subjects will apply the test material to the left or right side of the face, following a randomization schedule generated by the Testing Facility, and according to Sponsor-supplied use instructions. Subjects will be instructed not to touch their face until after trial completion.
A Bioinstrumentation technician will capture sebum measurements at the test sites approximately 30 minutes post-application, as previously described. Subjects will then be dismissed from testing facility.
