Foot Cream Study

PROCEDURES: Visit 1: Potential subjects will report to the Testing Facility at their scheduled appointment time and complete an ICF and Photographic Release to become subjects. Subjects will complete a Medical History Form to determine initial qualification. For 7 days prior to the Test Phase (Day 0) of the trial, subjects will discontinue use of any type of products (moisturizers, sprays, powders, etc.) on their feet. Subjects will wash their feet two times each day with a non-moisturizing cleanser, provided by the Testing Facility. Subjects will be required to use the provided cleanser for all bathing/showering for the entire duration of the trial. A Conditioning Phase daily diary will be provided to each subject to document each washing of their feet. Visit 2: Subjects will report to the Testing Facility at their scheduled appointment time with their Conditioning Phase daily diaries, freshly washed feet, and open style shoes, without socks. Daily diaries will be reviewed for compliance and retained by the Testing Facility. Subjects will be examined by an Expert Grader for evidence of dryness on their feet (soles and both sides/inner and outer edges). Only those subjects presenting with a minimum score of “2” on each sole of the foot will qualify for the trial. Subjects will be disqualified if they present with a score greater than “6” on any area. Qualified subjects will equilibrate in the temperature controlled room with their shoes off for at least 30 minutes. A Bioinstrumentation technician will capture images on 5 randomized subjects. The subjects will be selected according to a randomization schedule generated by the Testing Facility. Under clinical supervision, subjects will apply the test material according to the Sponsor-supplied use instructions. Subjects will equilibrate in the environmentally-controlled room with their shoes off for at least 30 minutes, as previously described. Approximately 30 minutes post application, subjects will be evaluated by an Expert Grader, as previously described. A Bioinstrumentation technician will capture images on the 5 selected subjects, as previously described. Subjects will be instructed to abstain from strenuous exercise, avoid applying any products to their feet, and washing or wetting their feet for approximately 24 hours. Visit 3: Approximately 24 hours post-application, subjects will report to the Testing Facility at their scheduled appointment time, with open-style shoes and without socks. Subjects will equilibrate in the temperature-controlled room with their shoes off for at least 30 minutes. While equilibrating, subjects will be administered a Sponsor-supplied questionnaire to complete. Questionnaires will be collected and reviewed for completeness. Subjects will be evaluated by an Expert Grader, as previously described. A Bioinstrumentation technician will capture images on the 5 selected subjects. Subjects will then be dismissed from the trial.
