Consumer Product Testing Company uses text messaging to communicate with individuals who express interest in participating in our consumer research studies.
When you provide your mobile phone number through one of our study inquiry forms, you may consent to receive text messages related to your study inquiry, screening, required participant forms, and study participation.
Individuals may opt in to receive SMS/RCS messages by selecting the optional, unchecked text messaging consent checkbox on our online study inquiry forms. Consent is not automatically provided by entering a phone number or submitting the form.
The consent notice displayed on our forms is:
I agree to receive SMS/RCS text messages from Consumer Product Testing Company (CPTC) regarding my study inquiry, screening, participant forms, appointment reminders, and study participation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. See our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Below is an example of a study sign up form showing where the text messaging consent notice appears.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from Consumer Product Testing Company at that number unless you opt in again. Please note that opting out of text messaging will make you ineligible to participate in CPT studies.
